It is a gentle acid which only removes stains in your pool. Brushing will not remove metal stains from a pool surface, you must use Ascorbic Acid Metal Stain Remover. You must start with your pool water below a chlorine level of 1 ppm for best results. After you use the stain remover, you should use Mega Maintain sequestering agent to hold the metals in solution and then use a CuLator 1.0 or a CuLator Ultra 4.0 to eliminate the metals from the water so the pool stains will not return.
