CuLator Ultra 4.0–The only way to get metals like copper, iron and manganese out of pool water which prevents stains and discoloration and reduces the metal to non-staining levels.
CuLator Ultra 4.0 often puffs up and looks like a pillow. This is a normal.
Here are a few tips to know when the Ultra 4.0 is finished:
- The CuLator bag will shrink down to half the size it was when puffed up
- The contents will feel watery inside
- The contents will feel like sand to the touch

We have had a frustrating very high Copper 0.7, then added the Culator and The Blue Stuff. Culator picks up the copper, water clears up and copper level is down to 0.15. We’ll continue to change out the Culator every 30 days to keep the copper down …. goal is zero copper!. Thanks so much for your product and explanatory information.

Here are the photos of our pool. The last two photos show the residue that accumulated in the street at the end of the vacuum hose.

I put it in skimmer basket with chlorine tabs only to find out later that contact with chlorine tablets may destroy the bag per instructions. I would not have bought if I had known.

Don’t worry, the bag will last several months on chlorine tabs. Just check the bag every week…you shouldn’t have any problems. If the bag is damaged or torn, just discard it.

I love CuLator. I started by using a 1.0 and switched to the Ultra 4.0 after using the Metal Stain Eliminator Kit. The 4.0 just makes sense to keep my pool metal free all season.
