TOTAL WATER TESTING
TOTAL metal testing is the only accurate way to gauge how much metal is present in your pool water. Most water tests only test for FREE metals. To get technical, we do water testing for TOTAL metals using Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectroscopy (ICP). Our ICP can test down to levels of ppm (parts per million) with high accuracy. This is the same equipment used by the EPA for high quality metal testing.
All you have to do is fill two empty water bottles: one with your source water and one your pool water. You only need to fill the bottles half way. Label each bottle with your name, date, and if it is the source water or the pool water. It’s best to use a Sharpie or tape. Make sure the bottles are screwed tight, put them in a ziplock bag and then ship them to us using FedEx, UPS, USPS or a service that tracks your package. We will do the testing and email you a complete report for your records.
